Casting and Molding- a liquid material is poured into a mold, and there the liquid hardens into the proper size and shape.
Deburring- smoothing the rough edges of a metal component.
Separating- uses tools to shear away unwanted material from an object. Also helps shape and size the product.
Conditioning- uses heat, chemicals, or mechanical forces to alter the internal structure of a material and give it new, desirable properties.
Finishing- adds coats or modifies the surface of the product to protect it and make it more appealing to the customer.
Assembling- puts materials and parts together to make a finished product.
